Local Appreciation Days
September 4th - 24th, 2012
Although our blog mostly focuses on events and lodging geared toward tourists of the area, we like to throw in a little something for our local fans every once and a while too. After all, so many folks living in the surrounding counties often indulge in stay-cations as well since the Smokies attractions are so convenient and offer so much family-friendly fun. If you live near Pigeon Forge, then you are probably at least somewhat familiar with The Lumberjack Feud. You've seen the billboards, passed by the building as you drive along the Parkway, and maybe some of your friends have gone and told you about all the fun they had.
Even though The Lumberjack Feud recently celebrated their 1 year anniversary, it is still one of the newest attractions in the Smoky Mountain area which means several residents have yet to get a chance to visit. That is why we are so pleased to announce that the Lumberjack Feud is currently offering a great deal for local residents in the surrounding counties. Anyone who lives or works in Sevier, Cocke, Blount, Jefferson, and Knox Counties can enjoy the show for only $5.00 (plus tax) or get dinner and the show for just 15.00 (plus tax) through September 24th. All you have to do to receive this great discount is present a valid ID and local check stub.
If you haven't had the opportunity to experience this amazing new attraction just yet, now is the time! This isn't the typical song and dance show you have seen time and again either. Once you enter the arena, you become part of the show by becoming a member of either the Dawson or McGraw family. You cheer on your family as they participate in logging events including axe swinging, tree climbing, chainsaw carving, and log rolling. Even audience members get to participate in some competitions, and there are even animals that perform stunts too. Of course, the show is full of comedy as the families feud against one another for the 90-minute duration of the show. Don't miss out on this amazing discount, call (865) 428-8688 to reserve seats for your family to The Lumberjack Feud and enjoy the show! Yo Ho!
